An established convening
Closing the Circle is convened by Food Cycle LA, which has worked on food recovery in Los Angeles County for two decades. 2025 brought food recovery operators, public health staff, researchers, urban farmers and funders together at UCLA for a single day — and demand outran the room.
2026 keeps the format and sharpens the content into three tracks: Roots, Remedies and Rescue. Same series, same venue, more structure.
